More targeted than an MBA program, Carthage’s Master of Science program in Business Design and Innovation was built with input from top industry leaders in business. Learn from instructors with industry expertise, and graduate with skills that align with hiring needs. This 10-month master’s degree program can be completed in person or online and culminates with an intensive nine-day capstone experience in Barcelona, Spain.

Our Business Design and Innovation (BDI) sequence is modeled on award-winning programs at universities such as Gothenburg (Sweden), Aix-Marseille (France), North Carolina State, and Case Western Reserve (Cleveland). Learn from expert faculty and visiting scholars who bring years of professional experience.

Virtual and in-person classes available

Carthage’s BDI program is delivered cohort-style and allows students to earn their master’s degree in just 10 months. Weekday classes are held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays both in-person and online to offer flexibility around work and family life. Students will take six weekend classes throughout the entire school year, which include workshops for the international consultancy projects.

Admissions and financial aid

Anyone with a bachelor’s degree, regardless of major, can apply. The 39-credit program can be completed in 10 months. Apply by December 1 to receive a $6,000 Carthage grant.*
